AUTOMATIC REJECTION EMAILS, A POEM
Sometimes I send my resume into the endless air,
To job posts where hundreds more have already staked their dare.
Or so LinkedIn whispers into my ears.
Leading me to hope of employed cheers.
Rejected fast, like a stone that sinks,
The automated rejection arrives before my heart even blinks.
I won the bet, I lost the bet, surreal —
Tell me, was that job even real?
