C-rona chronicles: day 12
9:30 – It has finally happened. I've lost any notion of what day I'm living in. Is it Monday? Friday? Sunday? I can't believe I'm gonna say this, but for the first time ever, I'm looking forward to do my timesheets.
10:15 – Joined the daily status with the team. Nothing out of the ordinary except that I have now mastered the art of presenting in a meeting while cooking breakfast at the same time.
11:00 – I went out for a quick run to clear my mind and get some fresh and possibly contaminated with COVID-19 air. 5 minutes into the run and I noticed everyone was staring at me. I forgot to wear pants... again. I'm gonna blame the quarantine for that one.
3:00 – Surprisingly, I haven't grown tired of eating pasta everyday. I'm just wondering if I should mix in some veggies too.
3:01 – I'm gonna eat veggies next time I cook. I swear.
3:02 – Do mashed potatoes count as a veggie? Beer as a liquid salad? Asking for a fellow quarantined friend.
4:30 – I should start my own TikTok channel where I upload songs I'm trying to play on my guitar while singing with my angelical voice. Yeah, I'm THAT bored.
5:00 – The good thing about mandatory virtual happy hours at the office is that I can "socialize" with people but without actually socializing with them. Also, it's a perfectly good time to debut my brand new mullet into society.
5:01 – If I just hang up is it still considered an Irish goodbye? I'm "technically" not walking away or leaving the place.
5:02 – Sorry Emily, I know my timesheets might be a mess by now. On the bright side, I am 85% sure today is Friday so let's consider that a win.
6:30 – So... what's the plan tonight? Tell me of a hip spot with a backyard I can't go to. I wanna daydream about some outdoor cocktails.
